Fees

Our fee schedule of $214.41 for a 50 minute consultation is well below the recommended fee outlined in the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee schedule of $300.

Your child or young person may be eligible for a rebate of $93.35 for up to 10 sessions if you a referred under a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) made by a GP.

For NDIS participants, our hourly fee is consistent with that outlined in the NDIS price catalogue, which can be found here

*Please note, where assessment or treatment has been undertaken for children and young people in remote locations, additional travel charges apply and will be fairly distributed in consideration of the number of children or young people seen at each clinic.

For psychometric assessments and reports (outside of those required for a MHCP), fees vary depending on what’s required. There is no rebate for most psychometric assessments. For children under 13yrs, you may be eligible for a rebate under the ‘Helping Children with Autism Scheme’ where a valid referral has been made by a paediatrician. More information about this can be found here

*Please note, we do not make comment or opinion in relation to family court or medico-legal disputes unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

Cancellation Policy

Please note, if less than 48hrs notice is provided to cancel your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the fee of your appointment. If you are an NDIS client, you will be charged the full fee as per the guidelines. If less than 24hrs notice is provided, you will be charged the full fee. This fee cannot be rebated through Medicare or private health insurance. An SMS reminder will be sent 72hrs in advance to the appointment time to provide you with enough notice to reschedule if needed. If you arrive 15 minutes or more late to an appointment, your appointment will be marked as a cancellation/DNA. If you cancel 3 or more appointment consecutively without a valid reason, all further sessions will be cancelled and you will placed on a waitlist out of respect to those awaiting support.

Reports

If you are requiring an assessment report. My general turnaround time from the date of commencing the assessment is 4 to 8 weeks. Occasionally, you may receive the report prior to or longer than this timeframe. Please note that turnaround time is impacted by a number of factors such as delays in gathering collateral information from external parties and delays in completing online questionnaires. If there is specific urgency for the report i.e. upcoming NDIS plan review report or paediatrician appointment, please communicate this to me from the outset.
